Error message when you use a Windows Vista-based computer to try to access files on a Windows Vista-based file server: “:\ is not accessible. Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API”

When you use a Windows Vista-based computer to try to access files on a Windows Vista-based file server, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:

DriveLetter:\ is not accessible.
Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API.

There is a download that resolves this issue. See Hotfixes for details. This issue is resolved in SP1.
