This poll suggests that the public knows Vista exists, but are not interested in upgrading. Maybe it’s because they don’t know WHY they should upgrade. It’s going to take more than ‘Wow’ and Flip3D to get people to drop a couple grand on a new computer.

It’s great to see this backlash against the Microsoft monopoly, spreading slowly since the DOJ granted their franchise for operating systems some seven years ago.
Although it proves that ‘markets’ can work, it’s taken much too long to get this far. A little help from the DOJ could have prevented many more individuals and small busuinesses from falling victim to the Microsoft juggernaut.
