You may be unable to type Chinese characters for the user name and for the computer name in the OOBE Wizard in certain Chinese-language versions of Windows Vista

Consider the following scenario. You have a computer on which one of the following language versions of Windows Vista is installed:

Language Culture
Chinese (Hong Kong) ZH-HK
Chinese (Simplified) ZH-CN
Chinese (Traditional) ZH-TW

Additionally, a 2007 Microsoft Office program is installed on the computer. In this scenario, you may be unable able to type Chinese characters for the user name and for the computer name on the Welcome page of the Out Of Box Experience (OOBE) Wizard.
