The display is turned off and you do not receive notification when a Windows Vista-based computer goes into hybrid sleep

You enable the hybrid sleep feature in the Windows Vista power plan settings. When the computer goes into hybrid sleep, you are not notified when the display is turned off. Additionally, you do not receive notification to help you determine whether the computer is still in transition to hybrid sleep. For example, the light-emitting diode (LED) light on a mobile PC does not blink.
