The Windows Mobility Center program window unexpectedly maintains focus when you perform an action in another program
Consider the following scenario. You are running Windows Vista on a mobile PC. You open Windows Mobility Center, and then you perform an action in another program. However, the Windows Mobility Center program window unexpectedly maintains focus. Keyboard actions that you perform may apply to Windows Mobility Center instead of to the other program.
The following is an example of a scenario in which you experience these symptoms:
- You press the “Windows logo key”+X to open Windows Mobility Center.
- You click Start Start button to open the Start menu, and then you click Start Start button again to close it.
- You press the “Windows logo key”+R to open the Run dialog box.
- You type a command in the Open box, and then you press ENTER.
In this scenario, the command is not run. Instead, a tile in Windows Mobility Center opens.
