ShopError message when you try to automatically install a printer that has an unknown printer driver in Windows Vista: “STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005)”
In Windows Vista, you may receive the following error message when you try to automatically install a printer that has an unknown printer driver:
STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005)
There is a download that resolves this issue. See Hotfixes for details.
