Error, “The Temp folder is on a drive that is full…” when installing Acrobat 8 trial or Adobe Reader 8 (Windows Vista)
When you install Adobe Reader 8 on Windows Vista you see the error message, “The Temp folder is on a drive that is full or is inaccessible. Free up space on the drive or verify that you have write permission on the Temp folder.”

Hi, I had this problem and worked around it by starting the installation again and waited til it got to 100% of that first download. DO NOT CLICK RUN, just leave the box up and go to C:\Users\(Your comp’s user folder\App Data\LocalLow\Netopsystems\ then there was an Adobe folder there. I cut this and pasted to desktop. After that, I opened it and double-clicked on ‘Acro-read.msi’ and it went through fine
