A list of all HP LaserJets and their status for support in Vista. Looks like most are or will be supported soon, but a few of the older models won’t be.

First the FAA and DOT, then most college campuses, now NIST. I know large organizations need time to test before deployment, but I don’t recall any announcing ‘bans’ on previous OS’s. Microsoft can’t be to happy about all this!
