I visited an IT store to buy Vista, they had said that it had a few major glitches with programs and had recommended not to purchase it at the moment. What is your opinion on this, a reply email would be greatly appreciated?

Vista can work great, or it can work terrible, depending on what hardware and software you use it with. You’ll need to do some research to see if your computer, peripherals and software are ready for Vista. You can use the Vista Upgrade Advisor (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=42B5AC83-C24F-4863-A389-3FFC194924F8&displaylang=en) to help with this.
