Their’s not a lot of info about this service other than it works with the COM+ Event System service and keeps track of COM+ components. I’ve seen some suggestions on other sites that this one can be disabled, but since it only runs when needed (manual by default) and some features rely on COM+ (Windows Update being one of them) I’m personally going to leave this one alone.
