The COM+ Event System is one that you do not want to disable since many important services depend on it. It’s basically collects event information and passes it along to other services that need that information. Among the types of events it is aware of are logon and logoff, network status, screensaver status, and power level information. Features that rely on it include Windows Update and the Backup and Restore Center. Disable this one and you’ll have problems left and right.
