Power consumption increases when you run a WPF-based program that runs an animation in Windows Vista
Consider the following scenario:
- You run a Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)-based program on a Windows Vista-based portable computer.
- The WPF-based program runs an animation.
- You are operating the computer on battery power.
In this scenario, the computer’s power consumption unexpectedly increases. Therefore, the computer’s battery power decreases more quickly than expected.
