Error message when you try to import video clips from a device on a Windows Vista-based computer: “The import device is not responding”
Consider the following scenario. You have multiple digital video cameras that are turned on and connected to a Microsoft Windows Vista-based computer. You try to import a video clip from a selected device. In this scenario, you cannot capture the video clip from the selected device. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
The import device is not responding. Make sure only one device is connected to the computer. Then turn the import device off, turn it on again, and then try to import again.
