Hi there - the iperf tests only measure the speed of the networking layer. It’s useful for troubleshooting issues with NICs, drivers and LAN switches for instance, or even Internet connections.
Iperf won’t tell you how fast your hard disks and applications can deliver and receive data over a network, so no, not a real-world scenario.
