$39 for a cable to connect your old PC to the new PC you’ll have to buy to run Vista so you can copy over your old files. Unnecessary of course if you have networking or an external hard drive, or little enough data that burning CD’s/DVD’s is possible.

Not surprising, especially considering most are just needed to do word processing, spread sheet and e-mail, for which Vista’s only benefits will be the increased security and improved deployment options.
