I suppose UAC is good for people who dont know what they are really doing on the computer so nags you when you try to do something which quote “that may have more or less significant effect on the system. On the other hand is it a cop out by microsoft / programmers to pass the blame for messing up your system with bad written code. Either way its like a over protected parent telling you cant do things that you want to do even though they may be bad. I think the adult users of vista will move out and turn it off

Our free utility TweakUAC can swicth UAC to operate in the "silent" mode. This way, while the protection would still be on, the popups would not be displayed.

Footnotes are used to reference sources. Quotes (or blockquotes in HTML) are used when you copy from a source. You can copy up to one paragraph as long as you mark it as a quote and provide a link to the original source.
Just provide whatever original thoughts you have on the paper, and link to it for the rest.

Maybe my writing skills aren't as they should be. It seems silly to reinvent the wheel on some parts, so I included excerpts from that paper, but as you'll notice, I did reference it, three times where I made use of your material. Is that still not proper?

You can't just copy content from other websites. I actually wrote much of the paper you copied, which is posted here:

[...] Save the file as cmdhere.reg and then double-click it. If you have UAC active (which you should), allow the script to run, and then approve the registry modification (which you'll be asked reguardless of your UAC setting). That's it, the change takes effect immediately, so right-clicking on any folder will give you the option to Open Command Prompt Here. [...]
